Nestling in the foothills of the Himalayas, CORBETT NATIONAL PARK invites you to enjoy the close proximity of the wildlife. It offers a variety of wild species – 50 mammals including the tiger, 580 birds and 25 reptiles.

Spread along a ridge at 6000 feet above sea level, RANIKHET is covered with pine and oak forests. Views of beautiful snow clad mountains on its northern side make Ranikhet a must see in the itinerary.

.:: Desert Jodhpur Jaisalmer ::.

Jodhpur: Amidst the sand dunes and thorny vegetation of Thar Desert, towers a fort 120 meters above the plain. The fort overlooks the imperial city of Jodhpur, which is an integral part of the desert tourist triangle. A 10 km long wall surrounds the old Jodhpur city with eight gates serving as entrances. The new city is settled around this walled area.

Jaisalmer: Often referred to as the desert jewel in Rajasthan's crown, Jaisalmer beckons and seduces one with its golden sands, making you want to go back once again. In pre-independence India, Jaisalmer was the capital of the Rajput state. For 800 years it remained a significant trading post for caravans and merchants that passed through the desert, laden with silk and spices on their way from Africa and Central Asia. Apart from the architecture, sand dunes are the major attraction around Jaisalmer. Here past is not forgotten – it often surfaces as the present.
