VNC promotes the spirit of volunteering and volunteers are an indispensable part of the VNC family. All those interested in joining hands for the cause of environment are welcome to join us: We need volunteers who work behind the scenes and those who are willing to be the face of the club Pursuing this vision, the Project engages Volunteers, from the world over and of different aspirations, to contribute and grow together with the facilities and efforts.
Who can volunteer?
Volunteering is open to everyone. The volunteers may be gap-year students, students, youths, professionals, teachers, senior citizens, any individual on vacation or a wildlife enthusiast. If you are interested in contributing, learning or understanding conservation, you are free to register as a volunteer with VNC.
The duration of the volunteer programmes stretches from a few days to several months. We consider a suitable duration as per your convenience and propose a programme that will allow you to achieve and contribute to the maxima.
Behind the scenes activities include website development and management, writing articles for and editing the newsletter, designing educational materials like posters & booklets, fundraising, planning new campaigns etc.
Up front activities include organizing snake-shows, leading awareness drives in villages, giving presentations in schools and colleges, accompanying kids on nature trails and outdoor education programs as team leaders etc.

was very lucky to be able to spend two months
with VNC
and got to attend six different camps. The camps
