Wildlife rescue operations
As the cities swell and spill over
in to the countryside, the animals,
birds and reptiles of the area stray
out of their boundaries into the human
world, where they are feared and attacked.
VNC has a trained group of volunteers
who rescue and rehabilitate these
helpless creatures in their natural
habitat.The urban sprawl mixed with
the monsoon season brings a large
number of snakes into residential
houses that we need help removing
and relocating. Volunteers assist
our staff in accomplishing this task
as well as taking these snakes to
schools around the region to demonstrate
and educate about their abilities
and characteristics. |
